For dessert bring in the vinegar to make your sweets all the more appealing. Adding vinegar to meringue pie topping will make the meringue fluffier. Simply whisk in a ½ teaspoon on vinegar to the eggs white before beating. Make sure to add ½ teaspoon of vinegar to every 3 egg whites. Pies may be too sweet sometimes. To reduce the sweetness of fruit pies simply add a teaspoon of vinegar to the dessert to cut down on the overly sweet taste. Cooking with red wine vinegar also works with other desserts.
